Hey, i've kinda been having "photography block" lately.
and now i've finally woken up and started taking pictures!
hopefully you like some of the new ones.
i plan to start taking pictures more and more now :]

Hey.
After spending the weekend at a balloon rally and taking over 300 pictures, I decided that I should get a separate deviantART to put all my Hot Air Balloon pictures. So, i have a new site, Balloonworks [link], and i would ask that you all checked it out .
From now on, I will only upload pictures of people, landscapes, anything that doesn't have to do with ballooning really.

The library in my area makes a anthology of different creative works such as art, poetry, short fictions, photography, and creative nonfiction. The book is called "Right Brained". So, I decided that I should send in some of my photography. I chose 6 of my favorite pieces [and i would have more but my camera won't hook up to my computer] and I would like youguys to help me decide which to choose to enter. I'll probably send in 3.

i want a new camera.
like a real one.
not just my lame little HP digital camera.

see, my dad bought this AMAZING camera because he was hired as the photographer for my cousins wedding [he did an amazing job. only thing we have in common - photography]. but as soon as he got the film developed, he sold it on Ebay.
i was like *GASP* WHAT!!

so now, i get my lame-o little camera.
not that i don't love it, i do.
but i want something better for when i really get serious with this whole photography thing.


ugh. my birthday isn't until July.
and my friends and i are starting a little magazine.
and they want me to be the photographer.

does anyone know someone who's selling a camera cheap or a place where i can get a nice camera cheap?
ones that takes decent action shots. and good quality pictures.
digital? but doesn't take 100 years to load the flash [like my little baby does...]

My Name's Teri and I'm pretty new here.
My family fly's hot air balloons, and we compete at rallys, so you'll notice that most of my pictures will involve Balloons.
Most of this is really new, so I may need some help along the way.
